Where it begins
What you'll do in Phase 1 & 2
Phase One:
Distributor Sales Representative
In your first rotation as a Sales Representative, you’ll gain the skills and tools you need to manage 20-40 existing GALLO accounts. This rewarding, hands-on role gives you the opportunity to roll up your sleeves and develop your career through hard work and demonstrated leadership.
What you’ll do:
- No cold calling, but you will be responsible for increasing sales volume and building relationships with your accounts.
- Gain experience and knowledge with our training and products.
- Demonstrate sales results and strong leadership to move to the next phase.
- May be required to lift displays up to 50 lbs.
Phase Two:
Distributor District Sales Manager
It’s time to show off what you know! As Distributor District Sales Manager, you will be managing a team of four to seven employees. You’ll manage top accounts, while assuming the training and development responsibilities for your team.
What you’ll do:
- Use your experience to train and develop new Sales Representatives.
- Leverage your leadership skills to motivate your sales team.
- Apply your knowledge to build and execute sales plans.
Phase Three
The experience you gain throughout your SLDP journey will accelerate your growth and prepare you for a career in Sales, Fine Wine, Distributor Management, and more!
Market/Business
Development Manager
Support our distributors while working as a winery liaison focused on strategy and in-market execution.
Distributor Upper Management
Leverage your knowledge to develop strategy and act as a leader within our distributors.
On-Premise
Coordinate with partners and get hands-on with products sold on-premises (bars, restaurants, casinos, concert venues, etc.).
Customer Development
Drive business at the corporate level with large retail and on-premises chains.
Category Development
Optimize product sets and mix for large customers.
Sales Training & Recruitment
Recruit new talent on college campuses and train distributor employees in the classroom.

The timeline may vary slightly by location for full time opportunities.
Intern applicants can expect to undergo an abbreviated process,
concluding after the Director interview, before offer decisions are made.
